Bringing a play on tour allows people to see productions from the Abbey Theatre in their own town.

The Abbey Theatre has taken to the road on a four week tour with a cast of nine and a crew of twenty two.

'Kevin's Bed' is the ninth Bernard Farrell play to be produced by the Abbey Theatre. There are record bookings for the runs at the Hawk's Well Theatre in Sligo and the Town Hall Theatre in Galway. Playwright Bernard Farrell is delighted to see his work performed to a new audience in every town. Next week, the play moves to the Cork Opera House and then on to the Siamsa Tíre in Tralee.

This is the fourth Abbey production to go on tour this year.

A policy which allows everyone the opportunity to see the national theatre in their home towns and cities.
